BUCS stands for British Universities & Colleges Sport and is the national governing body for higher education sport in the UK. With an ambition to deliver exceptional sporting experiences that inspire, develop and unite, they currently host one of the best University sports programs in the world. There are currently more than 50 sports that take place under the BUCS banner providing a huge amount of competitive leagues and events for students to get involved in.  Our students compete in some of the highest level of student sports and here at Oxford, we have over 60 teams competing in weekly leagues and many more who compete in event-based competitions throughout the season. Our team and individual performances also help add to our BUCS points total each year. This allows us to see where we rank amongst over 140 other institutions across England, Scotland and Wales.
